Then I got annoyed at the first inclusion of the Bauer Family Line of Terrorists plot line. I almost gave up at the revelation that Dad was a scumbag who demonstrates where Jack gets the torture gene.

But instead? Fine, it’s a primetime soap opera. Through that lense, it’s tolerable. But it also means that it may well lose live-viewing status and instead exist only in my notTivo.
