Yes, I did say that…

While attending ConvergeSouth – I told the crowd I thought that Brad Miller ought to be re-elected. (note: I did NOT, btw, thank Congressman Miller for his efforts on net neutrality, but on his involvement in the fight to protect blogs from campaign finance regulation)
Truth be told, I don’t know a lot about Brad Miller, other than his involvement in that fight for speech. And while he wasn’t a 100% ally in that effort having voted against (mistakenly, I might add) HR 1606 – by all accounts and my experience he was an honest broker. Yes, he’s a lefty.

This was funny in a way as Mr. Krempasky later took the opportunity to say that he “thought Brad Miller ought to be re-elected” thus provoking major online discussions. I actually went to a dinner hosted by Mike and everyone seemed to find it amusing how quickly the comments built up on the Daily Kos. It was new to me to meet political bloggers from either side and see how they use blogs. For the most part, everyone got along well and kept the discussions to the shared interests of blogging and online community. [...]
